Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we have high speed internet throughout the premise and in all 6 cottages.

Yes, we allow up to 2 well-behaved dogs and our pet fee is $65 per pet. Irvington is very dog-friendly, and we ask dogs stay on leash while on the property. Please bring an old sheet if your dog likes to hop on chairs/bed (and what dog doesn’t??).

Three days prior to your arrival, you will receive an email with your check-in instructions including the lock-box code located on your front door.

At this time, all booking of less than a week are through airbnb but we love direct bookings for longer stays!  Please email us at info@refuelirvington.com. Several of our cottages are rented long term so don’t hesitate to ask about longer stays.

With several units rented long term, it is not possible to rent the whole property but Refuel is the perfect location for birthday parties, corporate retreats and wedding parties. The Brake Room offers a unique experience for your group to gather and play games, watch the big game, or have an Oyster Roast!

Yes, the rental fee is $250 for a 2 hour event, each additional hour,  $100.  Events need to conclude by 9pm unless you have rented all 6 cottages. Parking is available on site for 18 vehicles with additional on-street parking on Steamboat Road. Refuel can graciously accommodate 60-75 people.

Each cottage features a sitting area, a bedroom with queen bed, an eat-in kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, two-burner induction stove top, full bathroom and more. Modern touches, such as refined natural wood shelves and bar stools, workspace and comfortable reading chairs give each cottage all the comforts of a larger space in a tidy package. Each cottage also leads to a private deck for guests to relax with a cup of coffee or dine al fresco in the fresh air.

While Refuel is not on the water, you are in close proximity to the boat ramp available to the public. Gaskins landing is just steps away where you can put in the kayaks, or launch your own trailable boat.

While here you have access to a Level II, 16 amp CCS charger, compatible with Chevy, Audi and Kia. We also have a CCS to Tesla adapter. In our experience, a 16 amp charger will fully charge most EVs overnight.

Refuel has bicycles and Stand Up Paddleboards for use. Guests may launch at nearby public boat launch or you may take the SUPs off-site to Windmill Point or Belle Isle State Park. Other locations are also available, please shoot us a text when you take them off-site.

Lots! The Local (Coffee/Breakfast), The Office Bistro (lunch/dinner), The Dredge (dinner), The Vine (lunch/dinner & wine/tapas), Hope and Glory Micro-Vineyard and Oyster Tastings, The Tides Inn (lunch/dinner).  Of course, our favorite, Refuel Cafe (Breakfast and Dinner) is on site and open April-October.
